The General Education and Developmental Studies (GEDS) department provides instruction in the areas of Mathematics and Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Developmental Education.

The curriculum in the GEDS department is designed to meet the requirements of the college’s Core Curriculum and to provide students with the background necessary to enable them to succeed following transfer to a baccalaureate program.  Also, courses are offered as the academic foundation for Associate of Applied Science degrees.
